Sitz bath is a warm water bath, usually with Epsom salts that you sit in, usually with knees to chest to open the anal area and allow the waters to soothe. Witch Hazel will both soothe the hemorrhoids and help you clean when it is wiped on with toilet paper.

Other useful treatments are cold compress for 10 minutes – you can do this four times a day, this along with vitamin E oil or olive oil can make a difference. We mentioned apples above, eating several bananas on an empty stomach can also help. Those are just a few ideas to get you started on a natural cure for hemorrhoids.
